Dennis Doran, Director

Dennis Doran joined the staff at Trinity Presbyterian Church in 2001 and has led the Trinity Fellows Ministry since its founding in 2002. He also helped launch The Fellows Initiative (TFI), the national umbrella for fellows programs, and continues to serve on its leadership team, assisting churches in launching fellows programs. In his role, Dennis sees the Fellows Ministry as largely a ministry of helping recent college grads discern God’s vocational leading in the marketplace, academia, the public square, and all of life. He is also encouraged by how the Fellows Ministry focuses on forming people for service and worship in the local church. Dennis graduated from the University of North Carolina, and before coming to Trinity and to Charlottesville 25 years ago, he lived and worked around the world. Dennis and his wife, Jennifer, love serving and worshiping at Trinity, where their two adult children have grown up surrounded by the Trinity Fellows.

Angie Murphy, Assistant Director

Angie Murphy moved to Charlottesville at age 15 and has called Trinity Presbyterian Church her home church ever since. She played soccer and lacrosse at Washington & Lee University (W&L), where she met her husband, Reid. Reid joined Young Life staff while Angie pursued graduate studies in speech pathology. They later pursued different careers but have remained active volunteers with Young Life at both the local and regional levels. Angie and Reid have raised four children at Trinity, and they love serving this community. Angie has worked in the health and wellness and hospitality industries. In 2024, she began working with the Trinity Fellows, with a particular emphasis on pouring into the young women in the program.
